Pastor Jonathan concluded our summer series on the life of Joseph and how Joseph leads us to Jesus.

Our series on Joseph continues with Scott Cramer showing how both Joseph and Jesus sought reconciliation and made peace with those who harmed them.

Matthew Joss, Director of Young Adult Ministries, continued the series on the life of Joseph by highlighting Pressures, Punishment, and Philanthropy.

Three Truths from Genesis 41:

1. Joseph acted upon God's promises before they were fulfilled.
2. God brings fruitfulness in the midst of affliction.
3. God placed Joseph as the source for life itself.

Deacon Mary McDonald focused on Dreams, Drought, and Deliverance using the text of Genesis 41.

Three valuable lessons from the story of Joseph recorded in Genesis 40:

1. God is still working even when nothing appears to be happening.
2. God's Word always reveals both salvation and judgment.
3. Human remembering fails, but God's covenant memory never forgets.

Jonathan looked at the story of Joseph in prison from Genesis 39, highlighting the following points:  

1. Faithfulness may lead to suffering.
2. God's presence is better than favorable circumstances.
3. God shows steadfast love in low places.
4. God prepares His servants through hidden faithfulness.

Deacon Mary McDonald looked at Joseph's lack of freedom and the freedom we can have in Christ.

Deacon Scott Cramer continues our series on the life of Joseph focusing on God's presence and faithfulness as seen in Genesis 39:1-6a.

Pits are a part of life. We all live in a broken world. Pits reveal what we trust. We must put our trust and hope in God.
